Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to support PreK and elementary students within a K-12 school setting in Bath, NY, serving the western region that includes both Hornell and Bath School Districts. This contract position spans the current school year from November 17, 2025, through June 25, 2026, with onsite responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations, individualized therapy, and ongoing progress monitoring for students
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and federal regulations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary service plans
Desired Qualifications:
- Active New York State Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license
- Certification in School Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Hold current Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) certification in New York
- Experience working with PreK and elementary-aged children within school settings
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
